Lines have always been technically attributed to architecture. Having been educated with the likes of Lebbeus Woods and Wes Jones, it only make sense that my art would revere lines. My work plays with the line’s varying thickness to create spatial scenes softened by the use of fanciful colour.
The approach, to contrast the harsh absolute line against the softness of the watercolour where together they create a scene the viewer wishes to enter.
